Duties: Student & Program Support Specialist
Andrea came to the HTM Department in October 2008 after completing her bachelor's degree in Marketing from Ohio State. Andrea works with the undergraduate program and, among other things, processes student paperwork, responds to student inquiries, and sends out informational e-mails to students. She also does the editing and layout for "Hokie Hospitality News" (the departmental newsletter), helps coordinate the annual Destinations in HTM Career Event, maintains the departmental website, helps to keep recruiter and alumni relationships, and is the main receptionist for the Department.
Andrea moved to Blacksburg in August of 2008 with her husband who is a master's student in the fisheries program. They both graduated from Ohio State and are huge Buckeye fans (who are quickly becoming Hokie fans as well)!
