Scholarships
HTM Scholarships
The HTM Department offers approximately $50,000.00 in scholarships to HTM majors each year. The number of scholarships and amount vary from year to year due to endowment earnings. The scholarships range from approximately $500.00 to $3,500.00. Funding has been made available through such organizations as the American Hotel and Lodging Foundation Scholarship, Darden Restaurants Foundation, Hilton Hotels Corporation, J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation, Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association, and private donors through such scholarship opportunities as the Mehdi Adldoost Memorial Scholarship and Herbert J. Clegg Endowed Scholarship. The 2009-2010 HTM Scholarship Application and a List of Available Scholarships are available on the HTM Department home page.
In addition, the college has scholarships available for entering freshmen. Forms are available in the Dean's Office and may be obtained by writing the Pamplin College of Business, 1030 Pamplin, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia 24061 or from the Undergraduate Programs Office.
